PartPic has developed proprietary, patent-pending visual recognition software poised to digitally streamline the industrial parts industry’s entire value and supply chain (manufacturer to retailer to end-user). Industrial distributors, retailers and suppliers license the technology which is designed for seamless cross-platform integration (websites/mobile apps). A given company’s entire replacement parts inventory becomes part of PartPic’s vast database. An end-user in search of a part takes a photo through the PartPic app and said part is searched, identified by specific type and a point of sale is provided to facilitate ease of purchase; all made possible though PartPic’s detailed feature extraction algorithm. Beyond screws and rivets, the application possibilities are vast. Currently in Beta.
